Prairie Style Home — Cherry
Hills, Colorado
The design of this Frank Lloyd Wright inspired home in
Cherry Hills, Colorado was developed around a central courtyard garden that
is the focus from almost every room. The boundaries of
the courtyard are defined on three sides by the transparent
walls of the homes main living spaces and by a mature
stand of existing evergreen and deciduous trees to the
south. This home’s clean horizontal lines, deep
roof overhangs, and orientation around outdoor living
spaces make it ideally suited for its site as well as
the Colorado climate.*

Modern Oasis — Denver, Colorado
The design of this contemporary home located in Denver,
Colorado is oriented around a garden court yard and has a strong
horizontal orientation, deep roof overhangs, and floor
to ceiling glazing that blurs the line between inside and
outside. The massiveness of the Texas Cream limestone walls
and the slate roof is contrasted by a horizontal band of
clerestory glazing which creates a transparent separation
between the two.
This home is defined as much by its use of rich materials
as it is by its design style. The stone used on the exterior
is carried through on the interior as well, further supporting
the indoor-outdoor theme. Also, the clear, vertical grain
Douglas fir used in the window frames also clads interior
and exterior ceilings and exterior soffits.* |

Tuscan Hilltown House — Golden,
Colorado
The design of this Tuscan styled home perched on a hillside
overlooking the city of Golden and down town Denver optimizes the
dramatic view by aligning key living spaces directly with
the primary view corridor. The design also includes a
three story Tuscan tower that includes a 360 degree view
of the area with down town Denver as its primary focus.
The main entry sequence, which includes a walk through
an intimate, sheltered courtyard and an arched colonnade
front porch offers a distinct old world flavor. This rustic
theme is further supported on the interior by barrel vaulted
gallery spaces, plaster walls, reclaimed wood plank floors,
and exposed timber ceilings.* |

Mountain Traditional House —
Frisco, Colorado
Located in Frisco, Colorado, the design of this
3,800 square foot rustic mountain home makes the most of a small, infill
lot while capitalizing on magnificent mountain views.
Its angled position on the site not only aligns windows
of primary living spaces to key view corridors, but also
creates an interesting presentation as one approaches
the home from the adjacent street.*

Mountain Contemporary — Monument,
Colorado
Located near Monument, Colorado, the design of this 5,000
square foot modern home is screened by the surrounding evergreens
from it’s neighbors while at the same time maintaining
a sense of openness to the beautiful mountain view . The
home is defined not only by it’s modern form but
also by it’s generous use of exterior glass. A 10’
high by 30’ wide curved wall of glass blurs the
line between the Living room and the outdoors while acting
as a lense that is focused on the magnificent view of
Pikes Peak.*
